Hervey Bay AFC Reserves History

Hervey Bay AFC did not field a Reserve Grade side until 1982. The Club played Reserves for just 3 seasons (1982 – 1984) before sitting out the 1985 and 1986 Seasons. The Ressies team did not make it to a Grand Final until 1987, but since then has only missed three Grand Finals up until 2020.

The Hervey Bay Bombers Reserves team played a record 20 consecutive Grand Finals between 1987 and 2009. There were three seasons where the Reserves competition did not stage a Grand Final (2002-2004) during that time.
